Does INTEC have a store or sell items over the counter?

No. Since May 2020, INTEC has not had a store or a service desk for the general public. INTEC is a B2B company, that is, it sells fasteners and fixings for professionals (Companies and Industries). In May 2020, INTEC's historic store space became an INTEC Pick-Up Centre where INTEC customers can pick up their previously placed orders through the website, email and telephone.


How can I place orders?

You can use the traditional method - INTEC Order Service (OIS), or you can provision in Kanban - Kanban Intec System (KIS).

 

How can I provision through the INTEC Order Service (OIS)?

1. Order on intec.pt, mail: parafusos@intec.pt or phone: 218 537 283;

2. Make payment by bank transfer (in advance) or pay via ATM or cash at the INTEC Pick-Up Centre;

3. Receive the order by transport or pick up at our INTEC Pick-Up Centre, at INTEC's premises.

 

How can I provision through Kanban (KIS)?

Kanban is a Japanese word meaning "registration". This system is one of the variants of "just in time", where products are automatically provisioned when stock is unavailable. INTEC has this service - Kanban INTEC System or KIS, which guarantees continuous availability of material, so when a stock break occurs, a replenishment is automatically triggered. The Customer only pays what he gets. The entire service is operated and managed by INTEC, by digital and electrical means. When can I stop by the INTEC Pick-Up Centre to collect my order?

Orders are received (through the intec.pt, parafusos@intec.pt or telephone) and processed in the warehouse in order of reception. Most orders are processed on the same day they are received, but you can call to see if your order is ready to collect at the INTEC Pick-Up Centre. However, be aware that the availability of orders to collect is dependent on the number of items, their immediate availability, the number of orders that are in the processing list in the warehouse and the time at which the order enters our system, so they may be delayed.

 

What are the shipping costs of shipping an order?

For all orders over 100€ (value without Taxes), shipping costs are free for all regions of mainland Portugal.

For lower order values (for all regions of mainland Portugal), the costs are €7.50 (without taxes) per shipment.

For deliveries outside mainland Portugal (Portuguese islands and abroad), please indicate the Freight Forwarder or Transport Agent to ensure full transport to your destination.  Make sure to validate your shipping services (weight and size limits), and other country-specific information.

You can also request, transportation arranged by INTEC. In this case, tranport details (cost and dates) will be provided with the offer.

 

I received an automatic proforma email. What is it for?

The automatic email is sent whenever your order is finished in our warehouse. In this email, in addition to the ordered items list you can see the order cost. If you are a cash customer, you can use the amount as a reference for payment by bank transfer.

 

What conditions should I take into account when placing an order?

• Returns will only be accepted within 8 days, except for cables and chains for which returns are not accepted;

• Items from orders that are not picked up within 15 days will be stowed;

• Ordered items that are not part of our permanent stock cannot be cancelled;

• Failure to pay may lead to a revision of the agreed payment terms.
