60 years 

Founded in 1963, INTEC marks the commerce of fasteners and fixings in Portugal. It is through international partnerships that it becomes a pioneer in the diversification of products, in steels of various resistances, new materials, and applications.

Today, we are a Business directed to businesses (B2B) that invests in specialization, in products and services, of fasteners and complementary equipment, with commitment, clarity, and respect for society and the environment.

Intec is a 100% Portuguese company and has been installed since 2006, in a dynamic and strategic logistics center, in Póvoa de Santa Iria.

Competence and Results

We focus our efforts on a quality service that ensures the availability of stock with diversity and speed. This is reflected in the distinction for the quality in 2015 and 2022 by IAPMEI, by CONTEC Portugal with Estatuto Inovadora Cotec 2023, and the CERTIFICATION of the ISO Quality Management System: 9001, attested by TÜV since 2007, ensuring competitive advantage at the international level, differentiating itself from the competition.

Products and stock under the requirements of the future

We collaborate with more than 100 international suppliers to obtain the 22,000 items stored in 2,000 m², which consolidates the confidence and satisfaction of the demanding and innovative needs of our more than 5,000 customers, coming from industries as diverse, as metallurgical or food.

Therefore, we continue to bet on the articles that characterize us as the steel bolts, screws, or nuts, but also in the differentiated ones such as cutting and drilling, chemical fixings, and polymers, being exclusive leaders in the commercialization of the toughest stainless steel in the market, BUMAX, as well as official representatives of Rawlplug for more than 25 years.

Sustainability through innovation

We opened the first e-commerce portal in 2006, which has evolved with the most advanced IT and management systems. In 2020 we launched a new site with more than 22 000 searchable articles, which present the best conditions for your business. In your office, in industry, in the factory, in work, workshop, at home or on the street, in Portugal and abroad, through the website, email, or telephone, you can count on those who are on this side, INTEC.

In Just-in-time and Kanban, through our team or system, we adapt our customers' stock maintenance service to suit their needs.
